The pictures above was my bike a few months ago. Some weeks ago, I looked at my bike and decided I was tired of the color. I wanted something new. Maybe something that would rekindle my dying love for her. Not that the old red color with black stickers was not sexy. I had gotten bored with it and needed something fresh.

My name is Mamba. If you want to know why, read my previous article. A little about myself. I am in my twenties, from Imo State, Nigeria and I love speed, thus motorcycles. If I could fly an air force fighter jet, I think I will dump my motorcycle passion. I have been riding for about 15 years. In my previous article Biking 101, I touched the surface of many topics, which I promised to elaborate on in subsequent articles. This article will focus mainly on everything you need to know about travelling in Nigeria on a bike. Well, that might be a lie! I will tell you what I know from my personal experience. It might not cover everything since I am not the most experienced rider around. If you do not like it, then good luck looking for the most experienced people to tell you. Well, I think I have stylishly written enough to make an introductory paragraph. Let us get on with why we are here.

My name is Mamba. Not my real name anyway, but my riding name. Why I chose it? I will answer later on in this article. Writing this article anonymously will allow me to turn a blind eye on making the syntax and semantics of this article perfect. Not like the article will be graded by my lecturer anyway. I am 25 years old and I love motorcycles. I am not a journalist, heck neither am I a good writer. In fact, I am not even close to being the most experienced rider in Nigeria. I am just an average biker with a laptop on vacation from work, which means I have a lot of spare time to write all this “junk” about my experience being a biker, safety tips and “powerbiking” in Nigeria. I will try my best to organize the article to make it readable, enjoyable and educative to you.
