TRIP TO OBUDU MOUNTAIN RESORT
I visited this place with my brother in June. Rode from Owerri through Enugu, Abakili and Ogoja to Obudu. Roads were mostly awesome, except for a few spots in Cross River.
The resort is a must go for every biker. The ride is thrilling and has a lot of amazing views. The views from the top of the obudu mountains are breathtaking. Just make sure you take a pillion (and a little booze), as the weather up there is not very forgiving on a bachelor.
We rode two identical 2009 Suzuki GSX650F. Asides a blown tyre on the way back (which thank God I found a spare in Abakiliki market), the rest of the trip was uneventful. Enjoy!
